I started off in the insurance industry as a captive agent but quickly came to realize that a single product and insurance company does not meet the needs of everyone.
I made the decision to become an independent agent more than 10 years ago, and since that time, have been witness to some exciting changes in the marketplace. Now that the Affordable Care Act is established, it has forced the insurance companies to adapt and provide new product offerings. Things will surely continue to evolve in the coming years, and I am excited to help folks sift through all the chaos and confusion to get the coverage they need and can afford.
I am contracted with all of the major insurance companies offering products in Texas for under-65 Health Insurance, Medicare Supplements, Life Insurance, and Small Business Employee Benefits. There are never any added fees for my services as I am compensated directly from the insurance companies for providing the services I do. To ensure your protection and security, I only work with financially stable, A-rated companies.
I am based in the Austin metro area and offer my services throughout Texas, and also carry a non-resident license in 26 other states. For private health insurance plans, I am contracted with BlueCross BlueShield of TX, Aetna, United HealthOne, and Humana among others. I am also certified by the Health Insurance Marketplace to help individuals and families apply for coverage through the Marketplace at Healthcare.gov if they qualify for a tax credit, and am also certified to help small businesses enroll in SHOP Marketplace plans.
I enjoy helping others and pride myself in working with clients to help them better understand all of their options, and then work together to determine the coverage that makes the most sense for their situation and budget. Online technology has evolved with many benefits to help communicate information and apply for coverage quickly. We'll provide a wealth of information and resources if you prefer to do the research on your own, or be more hands-on to help guide you through every step of the way.

I reside in the beautiful Texas Hill Country within the town of Driftwood, along with my wife, two sons, and two dogs. When not in the office I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. I'm an avid runner, golfer, and have enjoyed volunteering to coach youth baseball for the past 10+ years.
